
Yes folks, you heard that right. Google has finally released offline Calendar that allows users to view their existing schedules or events to everyone, a feature previously only available to businesses and schools using Google Apps for a month. Though the only catch is that one still cannot edit or add events offline to be synchronized later when online.
However, you will need to have Gears installed - an open source browser extension which enables offline feature to the browser platform. For more information, refer to the official Gmail Blog!
